Manchester, UK – 2 July 2025 – The SER Group is proud to announce its appointment as the official UK service partner for Dunext Technology (UK) Co., Ltd. (Dunext), marking a significant step forward in supporting the safe deployment, maintenance, and end-of life management of energy storage systems across the UK and Europe.

This strategic agreement brings together the combined expertise of the SER Group’s specialist divisions—SE Recycling, Cellcycle, and Cellstorage—to deliver a full suite of warehousing, logistics, engineering, and recycling services. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to operational excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility within the energy transition sector.

Dunext is a forward-thinking global manufacturer of advanced inverter and battery energy storage systems (BESS), with a strong emphasis on innovation, quality, and system-level integration. The company specialises in the design and production of flexible, modular energy storage solutions that help balance energy demand, enhance grid stability, and support the integration of renewable energy sources. With a growing international presence and technical centres in China and the UK, Dunext is actively expanding its influence across Europe—delivering cutting-edge energy solutions for utility-scale, commercial, and industrial applications.

As Dunext ramps up its deployment of storage infrastructure in the UK, the need for atrusted, end-to-end service partner became clear. Through this partnership, the SER Group will manage the full lifecycle of Dunext battery assets, from first-mile delivery and secure warehousing to high-voltage technical support, dismantling, and certified recycling. SE Recycling will lead on the coordination of logistics, safe handling, and unloading of equipment, while Cellstorage provides thermal-safe palletised storage under full regulatory compliance. Where required, Cellcycle will oversee triage,
disassembly, parts harvesting, and recycling, ensuring each unit is processed with maximum material recovery and sustainability in mind.

“Collaborating with the SER Group highlights our commitment to a genuine local service model in the UK,” said Muhammad Hassan, Dunext’s UK Country Manager, “By combining our advanced BESS solutions with SER’s specialized expertise, we are poised to exceed customer expectations and drive the region’s energy transition forward.” The inclusion of qualified high-voltage engineers—certified to work independently on Dunext systems—ensures that all operational support is delivered safely and in line with UK standards. This joined-up approach allows Dunext to scale with confidence, knowing that every aspect of their battery infrastructure is supported by a proven, specialist-led team.

“We’re delighted to be working alongside Dunext to support their continued growth in the UK and beyond,” said Gary Mo, Managing Director of the SER Group. “As the energy storage landscape matures, it’s critical that infrastructure is matched by service capability. Our partnership reflects a joint ambition to make battery energy storage safer, more accessible, and ultimately more sustainable.”

With a dedicated service framework now in place, Dunext and the SER Group are aligned to deliver meaningful impact within the UK’s evolving energy ecosystem — supporting Net Zero targets while driving innovation in storage and grid flexibility. This partnership lays the foundation for long-term collaboration and reinforces the role of trusted local partners in enabling the clean energy systems of tomorrow.
